Acy Puckett, 70, of Magnolia, Kentucky and formerly of Muncie, Indiana passed away on Friday May 31, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on May 11, 1943 to the late Arlie and Georgia (Senters) Puckett in Clintwood, Virginia.
Acy was self employed as a carpet cleaner for over 25 years and was also a custodian for the Muncie Community Schools for many years.
He attended the Mount Olivet Baptist Church in Munfordville, Kentucky.
Acy is survived by his wife of 8 years Sherry Hisle-Puckett of Magnolia, in addition to, daughter-in-law Roxie Puckett of Muncie; son Kevin (Crystal) Puckett of Greenwood, Ind.; daughter Kristi (David) Grace of Muncie; stepsons Tom Needler of Goose Creek, S.C. and Jonathan Hisle of Cincinnati, OH; 10 grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
In addition to his parents Acy was preceded in death by his 1st wife Barbara in 2003, son Kenneth in 2010, and several siblings.
Friends may call on Tuesday June 4, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 N. Indiana 3 Muncie.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Delaney officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
