Ada Mae Moore, 82 of Muncie, died Sunday evening April 16th, 2017 at the Woodlands of Muncie. She was born August 27th, 1934 in Tupelo, MS and was the daughter of the late Robert Lee & Jimmie (Potter) Mabry.
Ada retired from Holiday Inn as a housekeeper. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Ada enjoyed spending time with her family and attending family outings.
Ada is survived nieces Dianna Ilsohn (Warren) of Muncie, Roberta Fleming (Lonnie) of Muncie, and Lavera Patterson of Richmond; a brother James Mabry of Tupelo, MS; two sister Arlera Cook of Richmond and Georgia Gates of Mississippi; several other nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Moore, three sisters Hattie Lynch, Vera Lee McIntosh, and Lucy Mabry; three brothers Will, Curtis and Brewer Mabry; a nephew John R. McIntosh.
Funeral Services for Ada will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
