Agnes (Louise) Stover, 69, of Muncie, In died Thursday December 20, 2007 at her residence in Muncie. She was born on June 17, 1938 in Jamestown, TN the daughter of Otha and Treva Mae (Madewell) Stockton. On March 25, 1956 in Muncie, IN she married Millard F. Stover who survives.
She loved her family very much. She enjoyed spending time with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She attended Morningside Methodist Church in Muncie. She loved helping at church functions. She also enjoyed traveling and taking bus tours.
Surviving relatives include her loving husband of 51 years, Millard F. Stover of Muncie, IN; one son, Scott Stover (wife: Karen) of Albany, IN; three daughters, Becky Steele (husband: Dave) of Parker City, IN; Melinda Reel (fianc: Ralph) of Muncie; Dianna Bennett (husband: Kevin) of Selma, IN; three brothers, Eddie Stockton (wife: Kathryn); Roy Stockton (wife: Philous); Howard Stockton (wife: Dean) all of Jamestown, TN; one sister-in-law, Bobby Stockton; eight grandchildren, Jason Meer; Hollie Dorsey (husband: Greg); Amanda Tooley (husband: Randy); Jessica Meer; Matthew Whitmire; Dustin Stover; Joshua Meer; Ryan Stover; one step-granddaughter, Leah Steele; six great-grandchildren, Grayce Dorsey, Mackenzie Meer, Bryahna Dorsey, Skylar Meer, Dane Stover, Abigail Davis, and one step-great grandson, Hezron Perez. Also surviving are five nephews and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Raymond Stockton, and one niece, Cheryl Dunford.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday December 24, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Jason Rice will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Sunday December 23, 2007 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. and also one hour prior to the funeral on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
