Obituary

Alden F. Bush, 84, of Muncie, IN went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 9, 2007 at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 1, 1923 in Canon County, Tennessee to the late Joseph and Edna (Moyer) Bush. On March 1, 1950 he married Delores J. Maule.
Alden retired from Warner Gear in 1988 after 40 years of service. He was a United States Army veteran. He served in France during WWII. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #433 and the Scottish Rite of Fort Wayne, IN. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, and visiting his birth place and relatives in Tennessee. Alden enjoyed feeding the birds and watching the squirrels get into his birdfeeder. Mostly he enjoyed spending his time with his family. He attended Center Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Delores J. Bush of Muncie; one son, Michael Bush (wife - Stella) of Muncie; three daughters, Linda Bush of Muncie, Becky Houk (husband - Larry) of Muncie, Jill Williams (husband - Larry) of Muncie; three sisters, Daisy Markum (husband - Lonnie) of Muncie, Treva Hillman of Springport, IN, Zelpha Earls (husband - Bonell) of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren, Tracy Wordinger (husband - Doug) of Muncie, Tyler Bush (wife - Tonya) of Carmel, IN, Taryn Lacy of Valparaiso, IN, Sarah Bush of Muncie, Megan Williams of Muncie, Kyle Williams of Muncie; five great-grandchildren, Caleb, Camden, Caidyn, Addison, Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. Alden was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, William R. Bush, and one sister, Lilly G. Taylor..
Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Monday, March 12, 2007 at Center Chapel United Methodist Church, 900 West Royerton, Muncie, IN with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a Masonic service at 7:30 PM on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie, IN.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Center Chapel United Methodist Church, the American Heart Association, or the Little Red Door of Delaware County. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
