Alice Marie Campbell, 81, of Muncie, died Sunday morning, February 8th, 2015 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born October 26th, 1933 in Somerset, KY and was the daughter of the late Alonzo Herman & Grace Ellen (Thompson) Dick.
Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family, traveling, fishing, and working word puzzles. Alice loved to travel, and enjoyed animals and butterflies.
Alice is survived by her husband Larry Joe Campbell of Muncie; a son Mike E. Baker (Kimber) of Milford; four daughters, Sherry Mackey (Norman Whiles) of Muncie, April Rozenboom (David) of Muncie, Lisa J. Campbell of Muncie, and Shelia K. Johnson of Selma; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren; two brothers Everett Dick (Joyce) of Muncie, and Paul Dick (Cindy) of Anderson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Peggy Hertel, a son Gary L. Baker; two sisters Irene Withers and Pauline Corner; a brother Charles R. Dick; and her step-father Miniard Cordle.
Funeral Services for Alice will be held Thursday, February 12th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Thacker officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association or the American Diabetes Association with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
