Alice Louise Sherwood, 87, died June 21, 2007 at home in Ellenton , Florida . She was born in Elwood , IN , daughter of Raymond and Eva Henn.
Alice grew up in Sulphur Springs , IN , and graduated from Sulphur Springs High School and attended the Indianapolis Business School .
Alice and her husband, Charles, owned and operated Sherwood Trucking and Sherwood Arabian Stables in Muncie , IN before retiring and operating Robin''s Dairy Bar in Bradenton , FL.
Survivors include her daughter, Llanie S. Sherwood Knox, Ellenton, FL; stepson William "Bill" Sherwood (wife Janie); grandchildren Allyson Brown (husband Patrick) of Ellenton, FL and Amy Sweitzer (husband Don) of Muncie, IN; and great-grandchildren; Kassandra Sweitzer, Jacob Sweitzer, Matthew Brown and Connor Brown; and a sister Betty Foister (husband Gearald) of Muncie, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sherwood; parents Raymond and Eva Henn; a sister, Thelma Henn; two stepdaughters, Beverly Sherwood and Joan Hayden; grandson, Matthew Williams; and son-in-law Carl W. Knox.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday June 27, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Coleman Barlow will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memories Cemetery in Muncie , IN.
