Alonzo H. Wesley, 91, of Muncie, IN died Monday, April 16, 2012 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. He was born on November 4, 1920 in Ansel, Kentucky the son of Joe and Sreney (Wheeler) Wesley. On May 11, 1947 he married Margaret (Peters) Wesley. He enjoyed raising and training beagles. He also enjoyed working with his hands and a little woodworking. Surviving relatives include two sons, Lloyd Wesley (Deanna) of Lyndon Center, VT; Larry Wesley (Rita) of Selma, IN; two brothers, Earlin Wesley of Gaston, IN; Harold Wesley of Gaston, IN; four grandchildren, Travis Wesley (Ana) of Franklin, Wisconsin; Troy Wesley (Olivia) of Navarre, Florida; Laura Wesley of Lyndon Center, Vermont; William Wesley of Hinesburg, Vermont; four great-grandchildren, Angela, Alexandra, Katelyn, Grace; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday April 21, 2012 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Rev. Chris Sewell will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
