Obituary

Amil Lee Vance, 77, of Muncie, died Monday, November 11th, 2013 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born November 17th, 1935 in Seamar, Ohio, and was the son of the late Sammy & Anna (Hunter) Vance.
Amil retired from Broderick''s as a press operator after 29 years of service. He loved to draw and paint; he was a very great artist. Amil enjoyed working on cars, watching old movies, and spending time with his family. He had attended the Southside Church of the Nazarene.
Amil his survived by his loving wife Loretta May (Baker) Vance of Muncie; four children, Jerry Vance (Deana May) of Muncie, Kimber Vance of Muncie, Betty Neeley (Richard) of Winchester, and Tina Wilson (Jim) of Parker City; three step-children, Karen Harrington (Tony Tutterow) of Muncie, Sara Harrington (Jack Meadows) of Muncie, and Douglas Harrington of Muncie; fifteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren, a sister Becky Wilson of Leesburg, IN, several nieces and nephews also survive . In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Lorena Bennett, and a brother James Vance.
Funeral Services for Amil will be held Friday, November 15th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Monroe officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at Garden View Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to any Local Food Bank of the donor''s choice.
