Amy Michelle Stefanski, 40, of Avon, died unexpectedly Friday evening, August 15th, 2014 at her residence. She was born March 22nd, 1974 in Muncie, and is the daughter of Michael & Anna (McDonald) Gayheart.
Amy was a loving daughter, sister, wife and mother. She loved being with her family and going to family gatherings. Amy enjoyed reading, watching sports, and was an avid basketball and football fan. She received her associate''s degree from IVY Tech in computer programming, and had attended Ball State University. Amy had attended the Eaton First Church of God.
Amy is survived by her loving husband Justin Emil John Stefanski of Avon; her two daughters Gretchen Ruth and Ella Grace Stefanski of Avon; her parents Michael and Anna (McDonald) Gayheart of Eaton; her two sisters, Lisa Ann Lane (Rob) of Murfreesboro, TN, and Sara Lynn Vandeveer (Corey) of Brownsburg; paternal grandmother Bonnie Gayheart of Eaton, and maternal grandmother Eda McDonald of Muncie; her in-laws, John Stefanski and Diane Dye; sister-in-law Jamie Brashear (Ryan) of Carmel; brother-in-law Joel Stefanski of Jasonville, IN; three nephews Ethan and Dylan Vandeveer of Brownsburg and Jacob Brashear of Carmel; three nieces Kinsley and Ramsey Lane of Murfreesboro and Emma Brashear of Carmel, TN; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Leroy and June Gayheart; maternal grandfather Walter McDonald, and an aunt Jayne Cox.
Funeral Services for Amy will be held, Friday, August 22nd, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Terry Canfield officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, August 21st, 2014 at the funeral home.
