Amy Annette Sneed, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 30, 1968 in Muncie to Thomas and Helen (Babbitt) Clidinst. Amy is a 1986 graduate of Muncie Southside High School. On May 21, 1988 she married her love, Michael Wayne Sneed in Muncie.
Amy was a stay-at-home wife, mother, and caretaker of the neighborhood kids. She took on-line classes to become a medical biller and coder. She received a certificate of completion to work as a receptionist in a physician''s office. Amy also worked at the Speedway gas station for 5 years and as a nurse''s aide for many years in the Muncie and surrounding areas. Amy played the clarinet in the high school band; enjoyed traveling; and loved to bake. Above all, Amy loved her family to the fullest and took in any child of need in the neighborhood who needed assistance and love.
Amy is survived by her loving husband Michael Sneed of 22 years; daughter Ashley Sneed; granddaughter Aubrionna Mare''e Sneed; soon-to-be grandson; Aunt Terri Keever; nephew Private Ricky Sneed; like-a-mom Pat Whitmire; like-a-son Andre Burton; like-a-daughter Crystal Taylor; like-a-daughter Casey Batt; best friend Debbie Smith; and friends Kyle Cranmer and Randy Harper.
Amy was preceded in death by her mother Helen Clidinst; son Specialist Isaiah Sneed; aunt & uncle Joyce and Bud Henry; and aunt Claudia.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
