Amy Marie (Wheeler) Walker, 93, formerly of Muncie, IN, passed away Friday June 6, 2008, at Miller''s Merry Manor of Middletown, IN. She was born in Decatur IL. the daughter of C. Wm. Reeve and Fannie (Emmons) Reeve. Amy was blessed with the love of her life and father of her children, Melvin Wheeler who preceded her in death in 1970. Later in life she was married to Dwight Walker in 1990 until his death in 1997.
She retired as a cashier from Hook''s Drug Store in 1977. She was a member of the Ladies Moose Auxiliary, the Lady Eagles Auxiliary. She also attended Caleb''s Kin and the Alpha Center. She was an Election Precinct Worker for many years in Liberty Township and a square dancer on channel 49 in the 50''s on the TV program the 49''ers.
Survivors include a son Richard L. Wheeler (wife Helen) of Hillsboro TN. a daughter Deborah K. Rundquist (husband Vincent C.) of Middletown IN. Four grandchildren David L. Wheeler, Donald D. Wheeler (wife Susan) of Hillsboro, TN. Daniel J. Bartle of Denver, CO. and a special granddaughter Amy Jo Walters of Anderson, IN. Two great grandsons Andrew Wheeler of Hillsboro, TN. and Seth Daniel Tucker, of Anderson, IN. One sister-in-law Pauline Williams of Peoria, Il. Three nieces and one nephew. Also special friends Jim and Barbara Palmer, Jan Conquest, Sherry (Valenti) Reed and Nicholas Valenti.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday June 10, 2008 at the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North state Road 3 Muncie IN 47303. Pastor Jeff Landon will officiate the service. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery Muncie. Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday June 9, 2008 and on Tuesday June 10, 2008 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association and The American Cancer Society envelopes can be picked up at the funeral home.
