Anna Emaline (Keller) Shoemaker, 103, of Muncie IN, former Dunkirk IN resident, passed away Friday February 24, 2023, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Anna was born on April 24, 1919, to the late Russell and Jessie (Grile) Keller. She was a graduate of Bryant High School and attended Indiana Business College. Anna married her high school sweetheart John Shoemaker on March 24, 1943. They were married for 66 years. She worked at the Bank of Geneva and was a homemaker.
In 1952 Anna and John moved to Dunkirk where they owned and operated Shoemaker Rexall Drug Store for 23 years. Anna enjoyed playing the Piano, sewing, cooking, crocheting, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Lady Lions.
Anna is survived by her two daughters, Carol (James) Haler of Yorktown, IN; Kay (Roger) Neher of Edgewater, FL; three grandchildren, Jason (Jannessa) Neher of New Smyrna Beach Fl; John (Christine) Haler of McCordsville IN; Jessica Lightner (James Kirby) of Yorktown IN, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband John; brothers Dorwin Keller and Ernest Keller; sisters Lavaun Muth and Jean Davis.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 4, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Garden View Funeral Home located at 10501 N SR 3, Muncie In 47303. Visitation will be from 12-2 with service at 2:00 P.M. Burial to follow at Gardens of Memory.
