Anna L. Shorter's Obituary
Anna L. Shorter, 96, passed away Monday, April 20, 2009 at Golden Living Center.
She was born on March 16, 1913, in Rushville IN, the daughter of John and Esther (MacDonald) James.
She graduated from Rushville High School.
She retired from Borg Warner in 1970.
She lived in Fort Myers, Florida for 25 years, returned to Muncie in 1994.
Anna is survived by one daughter, Sandra Graves; grandson, Gregory Green, (wife-Kate); great granddaughters, Angela Hix, (husband-Jeremiah), Charley Green, and Alexandra Green; great-great grandson, Hunter Hix; great-great granddaughter Macie Hix; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband of 33 years, Wendell Shorter; two brothers; one sister; and son- in-law, Michael L. Graves.
There will be no services or calling. Cremation was chosen.
Burial will be at a later date in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Road 3, Muncie.
