Annie M. Kirk, age 81, of Muncie, passed away on Saturday September 5, 2015 at Golden Living Center, Muncie. Born on December 5, 1933, in Phil Campbell, Alabama, she was the daughter of John Lee and Rosa Ella (Frost) Williams.
Annie was a 50 year resident of Muncie, but also lived in Tennessee for 25 years, before returning to Muncie in 2003.
Annie was a homemaker and loved being a grandmother to her 8 grandchildren. She enjoyed her pets, canning, gardening her tomatoes and green beans, and walking. Annie was also a member of True Light Baptist Church in Muncie
Survivors include her daughters Brenda (Jeff) Davis of Muncie and Kristi (Alan) Ervin of Linton, IN; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Kirk, son William Harrell Smith, step-son Ronnie Kirk, brothers Roy, Doyle, and John Williams, and sisters Zada Williams-Thompson and Mary Williams-Malone.
Funeral services for Annie will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday September 10, 2015 at True Light Baptist Church 805 N. Country Club Road, Muncie with calling from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.
