Barbara (Rosinski) Gillentine, 67, died on February 26, 2010 at her residence, following an extended illness.
Barbara was born in Muncie on October 4, 1942, the daughter of George and Lucille (Patterson) Rosinski, and was a 1960 graduate of Muncie Central High School. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years, James Donald Gillentine, Yorktown; a son, Donald Charles Gillentine, (wife-Beth), Muncie; a daughter, Lisa Johnson, Muncie; two sisters, Carol Silvers, Muncie and Brenda Phillips, (Dan), Muncie; two grandsons, Matthew Johnson, Muncie and Cameron Gillentine, Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, James E. Silvers.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2010 at Parson Mortuary, with Pastor Jim Ballenger officiating.
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie.
Friends may call at Parson Mortuary one hour prior to service time on Monday.
