Barbara Ellen Mills, 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Muncie, Indiana on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

Barbara was born to Elmer and Vernell Seats in Rose Bud, Arkansas on April 30, 1942. She moved to Indiana as a small child and graduated from Muncie Central High School and Ivy Tech Community College.  She worked at Muncie Community Schools for 35 years and retired in 2006.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicky (Scott) Lawson, Eaton, IN and Lisa (Dennis) Main, Yorktown, IN;  grandchildren, Travis (Jonann) Corder, Jacob Corder, Jeramiah (Brittany) Lawson, Rachel (John) Seramur, and Amber (Michaela) Main; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Seats, Muncie and sister, Frances (Ronnie) Townsend, Fort Wayne, IN; and close friend, Carolyn Wantz.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Dennie Seats.

Services will be on Monday, November 27, at Garden View Funeral Home, Muncie. Calling will begin at 11:00 am with services at 1:00 pm.
