Barbara L. Moore, 80, of Muncie, passed away Monday, January 31, 2011 at The Waters of Muncie after an extended illness. She was born November 3, 1930 in Knightstown to Howard and Jannice (Judge) Elliott.
Barbara graduated from Yorktown High School. She worked at the Yorktown School cafeteria for several years. Barbara was a member of Friends Memorial Church.
Survivors include her son, Steve Moore, Muncie; two grandsons, Adam Moore, Kansas, Ryan Moore of the U.S. Navy; and granddaughter, Heather (Moore) Corn (husband-Steve), of the U.S. Navy.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Elliott (1969) and Jannice Elliott (1981); her loving husband of 53 years, Thomas B. Moore (2004); son, Thomas E. Moore (2001); and brother, Howard Elliott, Jr. (1960).
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Bill Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the mortuary.
