Barbara J. Penrod, 92, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Barbara was born in Muncie on January 7, 1933, to the late Harry and Laura McGriff. A devoted homemaker, she found joy in life's simple pleasures, including working on puzzles, visiting casinos, and watching Country Western television shows.

She is survived by her loving children, Randy Penrod and Samuel Penrod; daughters, Tamee Baker and Rita Kay King; and her brother, William McGriff.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Harry McGriff; and her sisters, Lila Irwin and Lenora Fruitt.

A burial will be held on May 30,2025 at 2:00pm at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
