Benjamin Weaver Williams, 83, of Muncie, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at his residence. He was born on December 23, 1926 in Erie, Michigan to the late Floyd and Ethel (Smith) Williams. After 33 years of togetherness he married his love, Wanda J. Rose, on February 6, 2010.
Benjamin worked in die casting for 30 years for Johnson Motors in Illinois before retiring in 1983. Benjamin was a member of Muncie''s Moose Lodge as well as the Eagles. Benjamin was a people watcher as well as a story-teller to his beloved grandchildren.
Benjamin is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Williams; their children: Mary Robben (fianc Lucas Prang) of Muncie; step-daughter Alisia Coulter of Muncie; step-daughter Anita Coulter of Ohio; daughter Barbara Williams of Wisconsin; daughter Linda Williams of Michigan; daughter Anita Williams of Wisconsin; son Lee Williams of Wisconsin; and son Malcom Williams of Wisconsin; 2 granddaughters: Shayla Stinson and Mikayla Stinson; 2 grandsons: Kaden Stinson and Brayden Robben; brother Al Williams (wife, Sue) of Muncie; and sister Peggy Reagan of Muncie.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents and brother Brownie Williams.
Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, has been entrusted with arrangements. Upon the family''s request, a private gathering and committal service will be held.
