Bernice Arnold, 89, of Muncie, passed away on September 30, 2011 at her home with family by her side. She was born on November 16, 1921 in Wilder, Tennessee to the late John and Ada (Hood) York. She was a homemaker and worked at the Holiday Inn in Muncie for 21 years, retiring in 1984. She loved her garden and canning, and most of all, her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Homer Wright, and a daughter, Earline Koger.
She is survived by sons Eddie Dean (Kathy) Wright of Muncie, Louie Edward (Judy) Wright of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Charles David Wright of Jacksonville, Texas, and Ervin Lee (Gayle) Wright of Pikeville, Tennessee, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Gardenview Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana. Online condolences at www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com
