Bertie E. Nichols, 86, of Daleville passed away peacefully, while in the loving comforting presence of granddaughter Melissa Godwin late Saturday evening September 12th, 2015. She was born June 21st, 1929 in Cammack, IN and was the daughter of the late Ted & Lois Stephenson (Weaver)
Her loving survivors include her daughters Pamela Beeman (Michael) of Yorktown and Jacklyn Barett of Daleville; her half-sisters Cindy Rice, Marlene Shaffer, and Lori Meadows; four granddaughters Melissa Godwin (Robert) of Daleville, Kelliann Zapf of Daleville, Angela Coleman (Robert) of Yorktown, and Myka Roach (Michael) of Gaston; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-brother, Howard Donavon.
Services will be held privately for the family at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
