Betty J. Bilbrey, 75, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 25, 1934, in Knoxville, Tennessee, the daughter of Everett and Elsie (King) Jordan.
Mrs. Bilbrey was a housewife and a member of the South Pierce Street Body of Christ Church.
Surviving are her husband, Arnold Bilbrey; her son, Ernie Lee Edmonds, (wife, Cathy); five daughters, Vickie Anderson, (husband, Lenard), Sharon Bell, (husband, Paul), Starr Sweeten, and Keeta Burress, (husband, Audie); two brothers, Jimmy Ray Jordan, (wife, Linda), and David Jordan; (wife, Linda); three sisters, Barbara Finney, Phyllis Sloan and Tywana Coats; twenty grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; one great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Shelley Gates; two brothers; one sister; and five great grandchildren. .
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Parson Mortuary with Rev. Peggy Whited officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday and an hour prior to the service.
