Betty Majors, age 94, of Muncie, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, August 13, 2023.  She was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Betty was born March 9, 1929, in Greenfield, Indiana. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Betty. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious food. Her homemade pies and chicken and noodles were a favorite of many. She was selfless in a way that she would give you anything she had on hand. She loved flowers and enjoyed having them all around her yard. Any time she had company, she was eager to walk around her yard, showing her flowers.  Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met, along with her witty humor. She had a sweet tooth in her later years and we can only hope she has all the candy in the world now. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Majors and several siblings.
Betty is survived by three daughters Cathy Grubb of Muncie (Ronald), Vickie Nicholas of Mooreland (Lanny), Kimberly Herron of Albany (Dave); one son, Randy Majors; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will miss her greatly.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Visitation is from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the funeral home.
Friends are invited to join the family at the Selma American Legion Post #437: 315 S. Albany St, Selma, IN 47383 after the burial.  Food will be provided.
