Betty Mae Noble, age 87, of Arcadia, IN died May 14, 2012 at Sheridan Healthcare Center. She was born December 13, 1924 at Union City, IN to Everett and Evelyn (Geeting) Dixon. Her parents preceded her in death. Betty was the Director of Purchasing at Jay County Hospital for several years and she also assisted her family in farming. She enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Family Motor Coach Association. She also was a member of the Muncie Friends Church. She married Harry Ray Noble on January 15, 1943. He survives her. Additional survivors include two sons: Randy Ray (Christina) Noble of Arcadia, IN and Stanley Norman (Connie) Noble of Osceola, IN, a brother: Kelley Dixon of Portland, IN and a half sister: Linda Pruitt of Muncie, IN. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel with Pastor Neal Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memory at Muncie, IN. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the services at 1:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
