Betty C. Piner, 82, of Muncie, IN died Saturday November 27, 2010 at the Woodlands Nursing Home in Muncie. She was born on August 30, 1928 the daughter of John and Dorothy (Sayre) Brendel. On February 8, 1952 she married Herbert Wesley Piner.
She was a fantastic wife, mother and grandmother. Her and her husband were owners of Piner Floor Covering in Muncie.
Surviving relatives include one son and one daughter, Bruce Piner (wife: Kay L.) of Yorktown, IN; Annette Piner of Muncie, IN; one brother, Johnny Brendel of Muncie, IN; one grandchild, Karissa Piner of Yorktown, IN; one great-grandchild, Conner Mason Hartley of Yorktown, IN; and one nephew, Johnnie D. Brendel.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 1, 2010 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
