Obituary

Beverly Sue Mullikin, age 92, passed away on August 28, 2023 at her home in Oakville, Indiana.  Beverly was born on June 21, 1931 to parents Harold and Lela Jones.

Beverly attended Selma High School and later went on to work in the linen department at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital for 27 years.  Beverly loved her family, kids, and grandkids and spending time with them at family gatherings.  She loved to go shopping with her daughter and she also loved to travel and got to see all 50 states.  She was an excellent cook, loved to read, and enjoyed flowers.  She was a member of the Friendly Stepper S.D. Club and enjoyed square dancing.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, Charles Mullikin; her son, Wayne Mullikin (wife Karen); five grandchildren, Heather Kingen, Megan Johnson, Chad May, Steve May, and Erica Armogum; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her daughter, Tien May and two sisters, Phyllis Staker and Martha Davis.

Visitation for Beverly will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM and burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery after the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Hospice.
