Bill Swearingen, 79,formley of Muncie died Tuesday, September 11, 2007. Bill was born March 8, 1928 in Newtown, Missouri, the son of Clarence and Alice Swearingen.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Karen Swearingen, four children, Joyce Thrasher (husband: Junior): Muncie, In, Bob Swearingen , Candy Jimeniz, and David Swearingen (wife: Tammy).Nine brothers and sisters, Mildred Hearms (husband: Bob), Joann Joannes, Art Swearingen (wife: Alisa), Mickey Swearingen (wife: Alice), Ron Swearingen (wife: Charlie), Sharon Shephard, Sandy Sherreman, John Swearingen (wife: Velma) and sister-in-law, Dorothy Swearingen. Nineteen Grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Lucille, one son, Sam, daughter, Billie, grandson, Nickie and brother, Jack.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday September 15, 2007 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Glenn Greiner will officiate the service.
