Obituary

Billie Marie Grindle, 78, of Leesburg, and formerly of Muncie, died late Thursday night at her residence. She was born April 17th, 1935 in Marion, IN, and was the daughter of the late Bill & Debbie (Wright) Embree.
Billie was a graduate of Indiana University School of Nursing. She worked for many years as a registered nurse. She and her husband Dick owned and operated Grindle Furniture in Muncie for 45 years. Billie loved her grandchildren, spending time at the lake, and traveling south to Texas or Florida for the winter months in their motor home.
Billie is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, whom she married June 30th, 1959, Richard "Dick" Allen Grindle, of Leesburg; daughter Leith Ann Fullenkamp (John) of Muncie; son Ric Grindle (Kimm) of Muncie; four grandchildren, Kalli Fullenkamp (fianc- Mike Stull) of Louisville, KY, Kelsi & Klay Fullenkamp both of Muncie, and Kylie Grindle of Muncie; sister Mary Jo Carey of Jonesboro, IN; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Funeral Services for Billie will be held Tuesday, May 7th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Rev. James D. Jones, officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call Monday, May 6th, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association, with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
