Billie Jo Neal, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, September 24, 2014 at her home in Muncie following an extended illness.

Billie was born to the late Harold and Martha Stephenson on April 3, 1942 on her family''s farm in Gaston, Indiana. She graduated from Muncie Central in 1960. She attended Ball State University and earned her business degree from the Indiana Business College. Billie retired in 2007 from Townsend Tree Service where she worked as an administrative assistant. She had also worked at the Muncie Federal Savings and Loan for 20 years. Billie was a member of Glad Tidings Church. She was a mentor volunteer at Sutton Elementary School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and being involved in their lives.

Billie is survived by her long time companion, Ron Wright; four children, Keith Davis (fianc Julie) of Muncie, Dawn Davis (partner Lori Reed) of Parker City, Kelli Braun (husband Ron) of Farmland, and Jason Shinn (wife Melissa) of Farmland; eight grandchildren, Brittany Davis, Lauren Raymer (husband Justin), Tanner Davis, Ross Braun (wife Mackenzi) Rhett Braun, Kloe and Macy Shinn, and Henry Davis-Reed; five siblings, Janet Jackson (husband Joe) of Muncie, Judy Dummitt (husband Leonard) of Muncie, Pat Aul of Muncie, John Stephenson (wife Helen) of Muncie, and Cindy Huffman (husband Rick) of Parker City; and several nieces and nephews.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, John Aul.

A funeral service to celebrate Billie''s life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Glad Tidings Church, 3001 S. Burlington Dr. in Muncie. Pastor Kevin Holt will officiate. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 26, 2014 at Garden View Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Saturday at the Church.

Memorial contributions may be given to Glad Tidings Church.
