Billie JoAnn Williamson, 65, of Muncie, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2013 after a long illness. She passed at her residence with her family by her side. She will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know and love her.
Billie was born on December 21, 1947 and is the daughter of Marjorie Jean Walker and William (Bill) Martin Walker.
Billie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Steve L. Williamson, whom she married August 9, 1969, a daughter Shelly L. Jett (husband, Gerald) of Muncie, daughter Stephanie J. Hite (husband Larry) of Greenwood, Indiana, and a son, Steve S. Williamson of Greenwood, Indiana.
Five grandchildren: James Jestin Brinkley of Muncie, (wife, Mindy), Joanna Wolfe (husband, Richie) of Washington Court House, Ohio and Amber Jett of Muncie, Sydney Hite and Tyler Hite both of Greenwood, Indiana. Billie also has nine great-grandchildren.
Billie is also survived by her mother Marjorie Jean walker, a sister, Carolyn Jennings, and a brother, Monty Walker all of Muncie.
She is preceded in death by her father William (Bill) Martin Walker, Grandparents, John and Ethel Wise, a cousin, Jackie Walker and several Uncles Claude, John, Robert, and James (Jim) Wise all of Muncie.
Billie had a big heart and was known for rescuing animals. One of her passions was taking care of her dogs Thor and Baxter, and her birds. They will miss her love and companionship. Billie's favorite vacation places with her husband Steve were Florida and Hawaii. A Private Memorial Service to be celebrate her life was held on September 4, 2013 at Garden View Funeral Home. Pastor Dennis Trimble officiated the services and Billie was laid to rest at Gardens of Memory.
