Billy Rae Thomas of Hartford City, Indiana passed away at the age of 92 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana the morning of Saturday, October 2, 2021. He was born in Muncie on May 23, 1929 to the late Casper Roy and Lena (Hahn) Thomas and raised by his stepfather, Lennie A. Bradburn.

Billy proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He worked as a business machine repairman and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hartford City, Indiana.

Billy is survived by his sons, Jeff Thomas (Rhonda) of Yorktown, Indiana and Lennie Thomas (Tamra) of Winchester, Indiana; one daughter, Cathy Thomas of Muncie, Indiana; two grandchildren, Aimee Cameron and Michelle Thomas; and one great granddaughter, Arya Thomas.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Casper Roy and Lena (Hahn) Thomas; his stepfather, Lennie A. Bradburn; his first wife, Imogene Thomas; his second wife, Thelma Thomas; two brothers; and one great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Sharilyn M.
