Rogers
August 26, 1930 – December 22, 2025
Blanche Mae Rogers 95, passed away on December 22, 2025 at Muncie Estates. She was
born August 26, 1930 in Groton, South Dakota. She was the daughter of William D. and
Viola Agusta (Rose) Price.
Blanche attended Muncie Central High School. Mrs. Rogers was
employed at A.L. Ross and Sons for 12 years and J. Richard Hurley, D.D.S. for 34
years prior to her retirement. Blanche was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge #33,
Eagles Lodge FOE #231 Auxiliary and American Bowling Association (her passion and
love was to bowl.) She was an officer of the Tuesday afternoon Euchre Club. She
attended Fountain Square Methodist Church where she was in charge of the dinners
once a month.
Surviving is a brother, Loren Price of Muncie, Indiana, three children, son
Dennis (Jan) Rogers of Lakeland, Tennessee, daughter Lucretia (Stan) Beard
of Muncie, Indiana, son Charles (Belinda) Rogers of Punta Gorda,
Florida; seven grandchildren, Kevin (Sherri) Rogers of Germantown, Tennessee,
Stefan (Amy) Rogers of Gainesville, Florida, Megan (Mark) Louderback of
Bartlett, Tennessee, Douglas Bailey of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Derek (Chelsie) Bailey
of Muncie, Indiana, Andrea (Heath) Bailey of Fairhope, Alabama,
Benjamin (Aimee) Rogers of Coral Springs, Florida; step granddaughter, Megan
Fleischer, Punta Gorda, Florida, and 12 great grandchildren, Zachary Rogers, Holden
Rogers, Pierce Rogers, Peyton Rogers, Bryce Epperson, Brynn Epperson, Hannah Bailey,
Viola Bailey, Brooklynn Bailey, Braxton Bailey, Nolan Rogers, Kenley Rogers and a
very close friend, Ken Stevens. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband of 63
years, Gene E. Rogers, her parents and four sisters, Bernice Porter, Lucille Paeth,
Flora Hines and Clara Crouch.
A Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2026 from 10:00 am until the time of service at Garden View Funeral Home (10501 North State Road 3, Muncie). A funeral service will begin at Noon at the funeral home. Blanche will will be laid to rest next to her husband at Gardens of Memory.
