Bowerman “BK” Gregory, 83, of Muncie, passed away on September 10th, 2026, in his home. He was born in Monticello, Kentucky on May 23, 1943, to Edward and Marie (Kidd) Gregory. He met Linda Kaufman and they were married January 19th, 1973.

BK served proudly in the United States Army from 1961until his honorable discharge in 1964. He was a machine operator for 36 years with Borg Warner until his retirement in 2001.

He was very proud and would tell everyone that his parents brought him to Indiana when he was just five years old. BK was a self-taught wood carver, loved camping, walking the trails, and going to church.

He is survived by his lovely bride of 54 years, Linda (Kaufman) Gregory; children, Mike Gregory of Texas, Tanja Yma of Texas, Cindy (Kevin) Ward of Daleville, and Kimber (Mike) Conner of Muncie; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie Gregory; brothers and sisters, Ronnie Gregory, Robert Gregory, Donnie Gregory, and Carol Fierce; and daughter, Vicki Anderson.

The family would like to thank the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice for their caring support and Nick Richards with Maxwell’s Barber Shop.

As per the family’s wishes, there will not be any public services.

Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory, Muncie.
