Brandon Michael Brenner of Muncie, IN, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2026, at the age of 37 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.  He was born on May 26, 1988, in Marion, IN and was a graduate of Mississinewa High School Class of 2006. He also graduated from Hallmark School of Photography in Massachusetts in 2007. He was employed for 13 years at Packaging Corporation of America as their Warehouse Coordinator.

Brandon was known for his heart of gold, hard work, and his love of fishing, hunting and camping. But his greatest love and the center of his life was his wife, Kendale and son, Collen, who survive him.

He was the type of person who would do anything for anyone at any time. Brandon had a special eye for photography and could capture the details and moments in his photos. He also had a love for classic cars. His dad and him were going to be refurbishing their 1971 Chevelle this year, which will still be done in honor of Brandon for his son, Collen. Brandon was a simple man who wanted nothing but to live a simple life with his family. This is just a small glimpse of the life Brandon lived. He will be deeply missed, and we will cherish the many memories we have of him forever.

Along with his wife and son, Brandon is survived by his mother, Lisa (Jerry) Abbott Hall, his father, Steve (Pam) Brenner, grandparents, Steve (Anna) Brenner, Dixie Abbott, and Jack (Charlotte) Bell, in-laws, Jerry (Tracy) Scott and Jay Scott, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Douglas Abbott and James (Ted) Scott and his best friend, Dustin McHenry.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Delaware County EMS and IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital – ER Department.

The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, IN 47303.

A service to celebrate Brandon’s life will begin at 11:00 am, with an hour prior of visitation, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the funeral home. Pastor Joe Hines will be officiating.

Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Muncie.

In honor of Brandon, please wear jeans and casual attire.
