Brandon Lee Rainey, 21, of Muncie, IN, passed away Saturday November 8, 2008 at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 1, 1987 in Muncie, IN, the son of Don and Julie (Thomas) Rainey.
He was a graduate from Muncie Southside in 2005. he was a member of the American Motorcyclist Association, a state Champion off road motorcycle racer and he played Metro Football. He enjoyed riding cycles on weekends with his dad and friends
Surviving relatives include, parents Don and Julie Rainey of Muncie, sister, Lydia Rainey ( fianc Jimmy) of Muncie, brother, Drew Rainey of Muncie, paternal grandparents, Lester and Barbara Rainey Jr. of Muncie, maternal grandparents, Harold and Sandy Thomas of Springport, great-grandparents, John M. Thomas and Lester and Burnice Rainey Sr.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Louise Thomas.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday November 13, 2008 At the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, Indiana, 47303.Viewing will be on Wednesday November 12, 2008 from 5:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Memorial contributions can be made to the family of Brandon Lee Rainey. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
