Brenda Diana Chester of Muncie, Indiana passed away at the age of 75 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital on Thursday, November 18, 2021. She was born in Muncie on June 6, 1946 to the late Roy Edward and Oma Vernice (Pool) Gibson.

Brenda graduated from high school and began working at RCA in Marion, where she worked for 36 years. She married Stanley Clay Chester, and together they journeyed through life until his passing in 2015.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Edwin Chester and Joshua Chester, both of Muncie; four grandchildren, Zackery M. Chester, Makayla B. Chester, Zachary Dungan, and Coby Cline; and three great grandchildren, IsaBella E. A. Smith, Jasper Corn, and Violet Cline.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Edward and Oma Vernice (Pool) Gibson; husband, Stanley Clay Chester; one grandchild; and six brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 1:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home.
