Brent Richard
Doublin
Apr 11, 1990 — Feb 22, 2019
Muncie
Brent Richard Doublin was born in Bluffton, IN on April 11, 1990. He was a generous, kind, and loving young soul. He always put others first, and never hesitated to go without if he knew someone was in need of something he may be able to provide. Whether it be the shirt off his back, the shoes off his feet, the last dollar in his wallet or something as simple as taking an empty shopping cart off your hands as he was returning his own. He never hesitated to help others.
Brent loved to joke around and make sure everyone around him was happy, laughing and those around him were always doing okay. If he saw anyone not smiling, he made it a priority to get at least a smile out of you or took 5 minutes out of his day to talk to a stranger and ask "Hey, how're you doing sir/ma'am." He could strike up a conversation with anyone.
Family meant the world to Brent, but to be his family you didn't necessarily have to be blood related. He never considered ever having friends, because the friends he chose, he loved deeply and they became family. Brent never judged you by any past mistakes you may have made in life. You would not be the person you are without making those mistakes. He accepted every person for who they were. He only judged someone, based off how one would treat others.
Brent loved to watch and play sports. Mostly football, basketball and baseball. It wasn't uncommon to find him cheering on his favorites Duke basketball and Notre Dame football. He also loved to play cards, whether it be poker, spades or eucher. You name the game, and he would be up to play cards for hours.
Brent was taken suddenly from us Friday, February 22, 2019. He graduated the Class of 2009 from Blackford High School. He loved playing football and baseball while attending high school.
Brent leaves behind his wife of 10 years, Lillie Beth Jesse Doublin; mother, June Doublin; father, Rich (Teresa) Doublin; sisters: Amanda (Dan) Whitehead and Jessica (Josh) Kirkland; dogs: Sadie and Baxter; grandmother, Nadine Ellwood; mother-in-law, Bassy Scott; father-in-law, William (Deanna) Jesse; sister-in-law, Abby Jesse; brother-in-law, Will Jesse; nephew, Landen Wilson; niece, Mila Gaitan; and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
