Callie Louise Gritton, 92, of Muncie, died late Friday night, March 1st, 2013 at her residence, following an extended illness. She was born April 29th, 1920 in Ginkleys, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Ellis Crosby & Nancy Louada (Ross) Moore.
Callie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who loved her family greatly, she also loved to garden.
Callie is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Eugene Gritton Sr. of Muncie; three children Eugene Gritton Jr. (Dora) of Yorktown Carol Ann Gritton of Muncie, and Nancy Lou Johnson (Tom) of Rossville; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Funeral Services for Callie will be held Monday, March 4th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
