Carl Spencer Tucker, age 81, went to his heavenly home on December 10, 2023 after a brief illness and was surrounded by his family.
Carl was born on April 9, 1942 in Hilltop, Kentucky and was the son of George and Ethel Tucker.
Carl served in the United States Army and worked for General Motors.  After 30 years of working at General Motors, he moved to Monticello, Kentucky.  Down in Kentucky, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding 4-wheelers.  He also enjoyed spending time with his daughter, grandsons, and sister.
Carl is survived by his daughter, Patty Ashburn; grandchildren Spencer Ashburn (Kaylee Weber) and Tanner Ashburn; sister Edith Powell; a special cousin, Hank Tucker of Stearns, Kentucky; along with several nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ethel Tucker; granddaughter Keiauna Ashburn; son-in-law Jack Ashburn; and brother-in-law S. Pete Powell.
Visitation for Carl will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Friday, December 15, 2023 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM.  Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with military honors to be performed by the Delaware County Honor Guard.
