Carol Sue Osborn, 81, of Yorktown, IN went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday December 12, 2010 at the Waters of Yorktown. She was born on February 23, 1929 in Hartford City, IN the daughter of Runa and Cora (Wolf) Perry. On November 19, 1949 she married Donald Osborn.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an active member of the Christian Congregational Church in Alexandria, IN. She loved animals, especially dolphins, cats and her dog named sugar.
Surviving relatives include her loving husband and best friend, Don Osborn of Yorktown, IN; two sons, Merrell Osborn (wife: Barbara); Mark Osborn (wife: Jody) both of Muncie, IN; four daughters, Rebecca Anderson (husband: Max) of Farmland, IN; Cora Bryans (husband: Barry) of Anderson, IN; Penelope Jester (husband: Phil) of Yorktown, IN; Sheila Crabtree (husband: Charles) of Muncie, IN; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, four brothers, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday December 15, 2010 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Jerry Young will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
