Carolyn S. Beall, 60, of Selma, IN passed away at 1:30 p.m. Monday October 22, 2007. She was born on November 5, 1946 in Muncie, IN the daughter of Lloyd and Betty (Armstrong) Shoopmon. She graduated from Muncie Central in 1963. On March 22, 1964 in Muncie she married Charles Beall who survives.
She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. She also enjoyed watching sports on television, reading, and playing cards with friends. She worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for Beall Construction for 40 years.
Surviving relatives include her husband of 43 years, Charles Beall of Selma, IN; two daughters, Carmen Witter (husband: Brad) and Cherie Mitchell (husband: Rusty) both of Muncie; two brothers, Ronald Shoopmon and Lloyd Shoopmon, Jr. both of Muncie; one sister, Helen Meyer (husband: Ron) of Fishers, IN; three grandchildren, Courtney Mitchell, Nicholas Mitchell, and Bryce Witter. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday October 26, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
