Carolyn Sue Bond of Muncie, Indiana passed away at the age of 78 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital late Wednesday, September 22, 2021. She was born in New Castle, Indiana on May 25, 1943 to the late John Daffron and Mary Louise (Justice) Peak.

Carolyn attended Parker City High School and retired as a Custodian for Ball State University, where she worked for many years. Carolyn attended Old Town Hill Baptist Church in Muncie, Indiana. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, and sister.

Carolyn is survived by three daughters, Tammera S. Spain (Bert) of Wichita, Kansas, Tina M. Jonker (Scott) of Wichita, Kansas, and Victoria L. Greenlee (Carl Happel) of Pendleton, Indiana; two brothers, John K. Peak of Cincinnati, Ohio and Gary L. Peak of Wichita, Kansas; one sister, Jacquelyn Gray of Muncie, Indiana; ten grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, John Daffron and Mary Louise (Justice) Peak; her husband, Robert Dale Bond; one son, John R. Shull; one grandson; and one great grandson.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to any kidney or cancer foundation or charitable organization of the donor's choice.
