Carolyn May Thomason, 71, of Muncie, died Thursday afternoon, June 5th, 2014 at her residence. She was born January 26th, 1943 in Morehead, KY, and was the daughter of the late Ollie & Zona (Mynuir) Rose.
Carolyn loved and enjoyed being with and taking care of her family. She was a member of Bethel United Baptist Church. Carolyn was a hair stylist for many years.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Jessie S. Thomason of Muncie; four sons, Tommy Plank (Sandy) of Racine WI, Clyde Plank (Cindy) of San Antonio TX, John Tuttle (Carla) of Muncie, and Kevin Tuttle (Peggy) of Muncie; seven grandchildren and eight great=grandchildren; a brother Mitchell Rose (Debra) of DeSoto; a sister Helen Kiser of Morehead, KY.
Funeral services for Carolyn will be held Tuesday, June 10th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Bruce Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10th, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospice or the Little Red Door, with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
