Carolyn Sue (Harker) (Ross) Stigall, 74, passed away peacefully at IU Heath-Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN after a long illness. Her gentle and loving spirit returned to the side of her Lord while surrounded by the loving embrace of her family members.

Carolyn was the fourth born child of Ambrose Harker and Edith (Malone) Harker. She was born on March 13th, 1941 in Muncie, IN. With the exception of short periods spent in Texas, California and Florida, she lived her entire life in Muncie, IN. She had a short career as a licensed beautician and spent her entire adult life caring for her family. She was a long-time member of the Full Gospel Temple in Muncie, IN.

She is survived by her Husband, James Edward Stigall of Muncie, IN; her daughter, Victoria Sue Armstrong and husband Steven Lee Armstrong of Muncie, IN; her sons: Richard Alan Ross and wife Jodi Leigh Allen of Albany, KY; Aaron Boyd Ross and wife Angela Renee'' (Mills) Ross of Muncie, IN; Todd Mitchell Ross and friend Bill Schmuelling of Anderson, IN; Robert Allen Stigall of Muncie, IN; brother Melvin Harker of Ocala, FL; sister Jean (Harker) Kemper of Johnson City, TN; grandchildren Anthony Wayne Armstrong of Muncie, IN; Eric Justin Armstrong of Muncie, IN; Jilliann Lea (Armstrong) Short and husband Joshua David Short of Fort Wayne, IN; Shiann Renee Allen of Elwood, IN; Lenzie Breanne Allen of Albany, KY; Megan Marie Ross and fianc Daniel Fry of Muncie, IN; Mallory Michelle Ross of Muncie, IN; Nichole (Stigall) Adams of Muncie, IN; Casey Marie Stigall of Frankfort, IN; Robert Thomas Stigall of Cowan, IN; Josh Collins of Muncie, IN; Nate Collins of Yorktown, IN; and great-granddaughter Isabella Leigh Short of Fort Wayne, IN. Several of Carolyn''s cousins, nieces and nephews reside in Indiana and other states.

She was preceded in death by her infant son Victor Ross of Muncie, IN, step-daughter Jana (Stigall) Collins of Muncie, IN, grandson Bryen Lee Ross of Muncie, IN, granddaughter Tiffany Loraine Allen of Elwood, IN, sister Pat (Harker) Thomas of Muncie, IN, and brother Charles Harker of Muncie, IN.

Funeral Services for Carolyn will be held Friday, January 22nd, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 5- 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 21st, 2016 at the funeral home.
