Muncie-Casey Danielle (Divine-Featherston) Krebs, 32, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2013 at her residence. Casey was a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, and sister. She will forever remain in the hearts of everyone that had the privilege of knowing her.
Casey was born on May 16, 1981 in Muncie, the daughter of Joe Divine and Kara Nicewander-Featherston. She was a 1999 graduate of Yorktown High School, a graduate of Amber''s Beauty School, and attended Indiana Business College. She married Brock A. Krebs on January 3, 2001 and they were blessed with two wonderful children, Brooke (12) and Dylan (10). Casey had worked a full-time job since turning 16 years old, but most recently was a 10 year employee of Great Clips in Muncie.
Casey enjoyed camping, being a devoted mother to her children, and spending time with her family. Casey was also an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. She had an amazing personality, infectious smile, and was an amazing person to be around.
Ms. Krebs leaves to cherish her memory, her two children, Brooke Kaylynn Krebs, and Dylan Jeffrey Krebs; her mother Kara Featherston (Joe Sherman); father Joe Divine Jr (wife: Paula); maternal grandmother, Nancy Nicewander; maternal grandfather John Nicewander (wife: Marilyn); paternal grandfather, Joe Divine Sr; a sister, Shivaughn Sheward; two brothers, Jamie Featherston (wife: Tiffany), and Nathan Featherston. She also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Casey was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Featherston; grandfather, John Featherston, grandmother, Phyllis Featherston; grandmother, Ruby Divine; and an aunt, Debra Tuttle.
Funeral Services to remember Casey will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 1003 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, Indiana. Friends may greet the family from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Elm Ridge Memorial Park following services on Friday.
In lieu of flowers Memorials may be directed to Brooke and Dylan Krebs Trust Fund payable through Chase Bank.
