Charles Bechdolt, Sr., 88, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2008 at his home. He was born January 8, 1920, in Muncie, Indiana to the late Roy Harold and Gladys Mitchell Bechdolt.
Mr. Bechdolt was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of World War II. He owned Bechdolt Printing in Muncie Indiana for over 40 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Bechdolt is survived his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Carl Wright of Silver Point, Tennessee; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Carrier Bechdolt; and a son, Charles Bechdolt, Jr.
Funeral services with military honors were conducted 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2008 in the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home, Cookville, Tennessee, with Rev. Frank Rogers officiating. Interment will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
The family received friends Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home
