Charles Bowling, 84, of Muncie, IN died Sunday April 25, 2010 at his residence in Muncie. He was born on December 21, 1925 in Tennessee the son of Ernest Bowling and Hallie Clevenger. He married Marjorie Bowling who preceded him in death.
Charles was an outdoors man and enjoyed fishing and squirrel, rabbit and mushroom hunting. He was a wonderful loving husband that cared for his wife. He enjoyed working on cars.
Surviving relatives include one sister, Geraldine Zimmerman of Eaton, IN; two nieces, Linda Zimmerman and Vickie Capps; two nephews, Ken Zimmerman and Charles Zimmerman, and many wonderful friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one sister, Thelma Steinhall.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday April 30, 2010 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery 10703 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Garden View Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
