Charles R. "Chuck" Piper, 69, of Muncie, IN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2007 at his residence. He was born on September 19, 1937 in Wilmar, Arkansas to the late Victor and Essie (Humphries) Piper. On June 4, 1976 he married Sara "Sally" Seessengood in Monticello, Arkansas.
Chuck enjoyed playing golf. He was a member of the Wheaton Masonic Lodge #269 in Illinois. He was also a member of the Shriners, the Medinah Temple in Chicago, Illinois.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Sara "Sally" Piper of Muncie; one son, Charles Piper of Wheaton, IL; two daughters, Jessica Delph (husband - Richard) of Muncie, Angie Hart (husband - Andrew) of Cordova, TN; four sisters, Eloise Manring of West Chicago, IL, Rose Johanson of Murfreesboro, TN, Lola Hoover of North Aurora, IL, Mary Simpson of Monticello, AR; two grandchildren, Emily Hart of Cordova, TN and Ben Hart of Cordova, TN, mother-in-law, Dolores Hauder of Muncie; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Betrice Burnett, and two brothers, Raymond Piper and Carl Piper.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN with Pastor Jason Morris officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at the funeral home.
