Charles "Art" Gray, 93, of Selma, IN passed away Tuesday September 9, 2008 at Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 17, 1915 in Dunkirk, IN the son of Arle E. and Alpha (Manor) Gray. On May 30, 1946 in Muncie, IN he married A. Marian Gray whom precedes him in death.
Charles belonged to The Moose Lodge, UAW # 287 and Muncie Bowling Association.
Surviving relatives include five sons, Jerry Lee Fritz ( wife Mary ) of Columbus, Ohio, Robert Joe Gray ( wife Karen) of Columbus, Ohio, William Arthur Gray ( wife Mary Ann) of Yorktown, IN, Charles R. Fritz of Selma, IN and James H. Fritz ( wife Janice) Of Muncie, IN. four daughters, Shirley Gray Mullican (husband Harry), Janet K Heath (husband Joe) of Selma, IN, Dixie Sue McGuire of Muncie, IN and Nancy C. Conway (husband Harley(Donnie) of Bradenton, FL. 18 grandchildren and 27 great- grandchildren and 3 great- great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special sister-in-law Virginia Mauck.
Preceded him in death are his wife, parents & grandchild, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services will be Friday September 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie. Pastor Randall Morris will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery Muncie. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday September 12, 2008 at the Funeral Home.
