Charles Thomas "Tommy" Sells, 62, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at his home in Muncie.

Tommy was born October 19, 1951 in Tennessee to the late Omar Odel and Theda Allene Sells. His family later moved to Muncie where he graduated from South Side High School in 1969. He worked as a machine operator for Warner Gear for 30 years, retiring in 2003. He enjoyed shooting firearms and spending time with family.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Copeland) Sells; two children, Jason A. Sells of Ft. Wayne and Amanda Sells of Muncie; three grandchildren, Joshua D. Sells, Payton M. Sells, and Kara L. Sells; a great-granddaughter, Felicity Sells; two brothers, George Sells (wife Donna) and Keith "Bud" Sells (wife Janice); a sister, Jean Lehman; a special nephew, Kenny Barnhouse (wife Debbie); and several other nieces and nephews.

Tommy was preceded in death by a brother, Omar Sells; and a sister, Janice Shewmake.

A funeral service to celebrate Tommy''s life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Garden View Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday two hours prior to services at Garden View Funeral Home.
